Amazon Shipped Over 5 Billion Items In 2017 Via Prime

 Online retail giant, Inc said within the week that it shipped over 5 billion items worldwide and over 1 billion items worldwide via Prime during holiday season in 2016.
Amazon is declaring it prime shipment details for the first time and also said that its Fire TV Stick and voice controlled smart device Echo Dot were the best-selling products among U.S. Prime members from any manufacturer in any category across all of its product offerings. The announcement triggered the shares of Amazon to move up 1.5 percent
Amazon Prime, which offers its users services like free two-day shipping for certain purchases, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video, has been attracting more subscribers every year.

Amazon Prime is a paid subscription service offered by  that gives users access to free two-day delivery (one-day in select areas), streaming video/music and other benefits for a monthly or yearly fee. As of April 2017, Consumer Intelligence Research Partners estimates that Prime has more than 80 million paying users.

Amazon prime was introduced by Amazon in 2005 and is present in 16 countries around the world including The United Stat, Mexico, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Singapore , Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom,France, Canada, Mexico, India etc
