Nigeria Postal Services (NIPOST) Generated N20.62bn in 2017

The Nigerian Postal Service created a sum of N7.04bn from its center activities in 2017, information accessible to our reporter have appeared.

The organization generated additional N13.58bn from electronic stamp deals, with this added to the 7.04 billion generated from core services, NIPOST really made a sum of N20.62bn in the 2017 financial year, N11.71bn higher than the N8.91bn made from all sources in 2016.

Mr. Bisi Adegbuyi (The Postmaster General of the Federation) had at a current open hearing on a bill looking for the reorganization of NIPOST and the creation of a regulatory body that will look into the affairs of postal and courier services in the country, said that the future of NIPOST is anchored on business opportunities created by electronic commerce as well as expanding its horizon to offer financial inclusion services and other online services.
